EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A 34-year-old El Paso man is dead after he was struck twice while crossing the road Tuesday night, Sept. 24, in El Paso's Lower Valley, according to El Paso Police. 1 person dead in crash involving pedestrian in Lower Valley Police say at around 7:30 p.m., Emmanuel Torres, 34, was crossing the 7200 block of Alameda Avenue when he was struck by a pickup truck. Torres was knocked to the ground and was then struck again by another pickup truck. Police say the driver of the second pickup truck fled the scene and Torres died at the scene.
