BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- The Tehachapi Police Department is offering a decal for residents to place on a window that would alert police that someone inside their home may not respond or comply with law enforcement. The department said the decals are free for residents and are available at police headquarters, at 220 W. C Street. “At the Tehachapi Police Department, we are committed to providing service to every facet ofour community," said Tehachapi Police Chief Richard Standridge. "I don’t want our special needs community to be neglected – so please take advantage of this program.” BPD seeks help identifying Dos Tacos robbery suspect The department says stickers should be placed in the front window or door of the residence to help alert law enforcement.
