APD: One person shot at northeast Austin HEB

AUSTIN (KXAN) -- One person was shot at a northeast Austin H-E-B on Friday, and the Austin Police Department is investigating, the agency said in a news release Friday.
Around 3:50 p.m., APD officers responded to the H-E-B at 500 Canyon Ridge Drive and found a person with a gunshot wound. Police said the person who shot the firearm remained on the scene.
Police said this was not an active shooter incident, and there was no further threat to the public.
