TOPEKA (KSNT) - A two-vehicle crash shut down part of Highway 24 on Friday morning. A 27 News reporter says two vehicles were involved in the crash on Highway 24 west of US-75. It is currently unknown if anyone is injured. 27 News caught dashcam footage of a driver going in the wrong direction on US-24 moments before the crash. Topeka runs busiest fire engine in Kansas The Kansas Highway Patrol said in a crash log that three people were injured in the wrong-way crash. The wrong-way driver, an 86-year-old Silver Lake man in a Ford Explorer, received minor injuries while the driver of a Range Rover, a 32-year-old Topeka woman, received serious injuries. A passenger in the Range Rover, a 13-year-old girl, received minor injuries. For more local news, click here.
