FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — Runners gather at Parkview Field ahead of the Fort4Fitness Fall festival to pick up race day packets. Participants in the 4k Run/Walk, 10k Run/Walk, Half Marathon and the Triple Crown are able to pick up their race day items at the Lincoln Event Center. The one-mile Rocket Run, Kids and Silver Fox clubs' packets are at the main gate. Fort4Fitness begins Friday night with the Rocket Run. Executive Director of Fort4Fitness Satin Lemon said despite some uncertainty about the weather, the runners will race rain or shine. "We have a lot of concerns about the weather; we run in the rain," Lemon said. "We would only cancel if there's lightning or hazardous conditions." Registration is open for 2024 runners. Packet pick-up runs from noon to 8 p.m. at Parkview Field at 1301 Ewing St. Registration is still open for 2024 races, those interested can register in person or online at the Fort4fitness website.
