KERSHAW COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Kershaw County Fire Service and Emergency Management are monitoring the lake levels for Lake Wateree, according to the fire services’ social media post. KC Fire Service are making contact with houses in the low lying areas to inform them of the upcoming water levels. The fire service also said they are in contact with Duke Energy and will begin to pull power meters where needed as the water rises. Firefighters main areas of concern are Singleton Creek Road and Singleton Point. Anyone with any questions pertaining to this should call Kershaw County Emergency Management at 803-425-1522.
