Baton Rouge Police investigating after man found shot to death

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) -- The Baton Rouge Police Department is investigating after a man was found shot to death Thursday morning.
According to police, Donald Epps, 40, was found in a residence in the 3300 block of Hollywood Street around 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 26.
The case is being investigated as a homicide. Police said an investigation is ongoing. No further details were released by the police department.
According to the East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner's Office, there have been 96 homicides in the parish this year as of Sept. 23.
