BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- Temperatures will be several degrees above seasonal averages both Friday and Saturday with a slight decrease projected for Sunday. Another warmup begins Monday and lasts until the middle of next week. On Tuesday, or just in time for October, there is a moderate likelihood that highs return to the triple digits in the San Joaquin Valley. Temperatures will moderate later next week, but some more triple digits are projected again on Wednesday.
