What We’re Tracking Pleasant Friday Nice weather for this weekend Tropical moisture stays east A cool start this morning with temperatures in the low 50s. Clear skies will stick around through daybreak as we anticipate a very pleasant day for our Friday. Afternoon highs will remain near average in the upper 70s to lower 80s later today. Sunshine will be abundant early on before a few clouds try and move in by the late afternoon. This will be some of the remnants of Hurricane Helene. We'll be on the far western edge of this system, so the tropical moisture from Hurricane Helene will most likely stay to our east, much like Hurricane Francine. Rain chances look to remain limited for the next week or so. Besides a few clouds leftover from Hurricane Helene, we don't get anything from it and in general we enter a fairly dry pattern to close out the month of September and entering October. Temperatures will warm up just a bit more heading into the weekend, topping out in the low to mid 80s for most. Breezes will be picking up from the north and northeast at 10-15 mph during the afternoon hours. Highs will stay consistent through Monday. We are tracking our next frontal boundary arriving early next week. That'll cool us down into the lower to middle 70s for Tuesday afternoon. KSNT Storm Track Meteorologist Gabriella Gomez
