A man allegedly pulled a knife during an argument after a minor car collision in Weber Canyon.Summit County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to the area for an injury/industrial accident. Deputies found the suspect after he left the scene, according to a shift report.Deputies investigated the incident and arrested one man. He was arrested and charged with threatening to use a dangerous weapon during a fight.The Sheriff’s Office responded to several other calls between Monday, Sept. 16, and Sunday, Sept. 22, including reports of driving under the influence, warrants and a past assault.Sunday, Sept. 22Deputies were dispatched to a car accident near Pinebrook. They made contact with the driver who displayed obvious signs of impairment. Deputies noticed the smell of alcohol and burnt marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. The man performed poorly on a standardized field sobriety test. Deputies arrested him for suspected DUI and searched the car and found marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The man was in need of medical care. He was released with a DUI citation, possession of marijuana and other traffic offenses. A man at the Park City Hospital claimed he had been assaulted about two days ago. He had multiple abrasions and a fractured skull. However, he couldn’t remember anything about the incident. There are no suspects.Deputies located a woman with several active arrest warrants. She was arrested and booked into the Summit County Jail without incident.Thursday, Sept. 19A vehicle was stopped on S.R. 224 near Old Ranch Road for an equipment violation. A records check showed the driver had an active arrest warrant for theft. The suspect was taken into custody without incident.A record check conducted on a vehicle near Bear Hollow showed that it wasn’t insured. The driver also did not have a valid license. A vehicle search was conducted and the car was impounded. The driver was issued a citation.Wednesday, Sept. 18A traffic stop was conducted near Echo Reservoir in Oakley. Deputies observed a vehicle failing to maintain its lane of travel and launched a drunk-driving investigation. Deputies ultimately arrested the driver for suspected DUI.Tuesday, Sept. 17Deputies were dispatched to the Canyons Village area after a dump truck reportedly ran over a man’s arm. Deputies arrived and provided emergency medical care for a severe injury. Medical units arrived and transported the man to a hospital. Monday, Sept. 16Summit County Search and Rescue was asked to help with a medical emergency near Mirror Lake. Resources were deployed, and crews located the individual.
