BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries announced that Louisiana's National Hunting and Fishing Day will be held on Saturday, Sept. 28, at four locations across the state. The event has been hosted by LDWF since 1982 and it is typically held every fourth Saturday in September, according to a news release. At this year's event, attendees will be able to try their skills at the shooting ranges, fishing ponds and boating activities. According to a news release, attendees can also learn about wildlife with live animal demonstrations.
