Good morning! We'll get another mainly dry day today, but there will be lots of clouds again. We do have some showers ahead for Thursday and especially Thursday night, then we'll dry out for the weekend. Hour by Hour // A close look at the upcoming conditions » Highs will be in the mid to upper 60s with an east to southeast wind 5-10mph. | | BEACH AND BOATING FORECASTS TONIGHT This evening looks dry with temperatures falling back through the 60s and 50s. Some showers are possible late in the night. TOMORROW There will be some showers around tomorrow, but they likely won't be terribly widespread. Most of the showers will likely be to our north. LOOKING AHEAD Showers are expected Thursday night with a cold front approaching. Some of that rain could be heavy and we could get a rumble of thunder or two. TROPICS Tropical Storm Helene will be working into the Gulf of Mexico today and will rapidly intensify into a hurricane...perhaps a Category 2 storm by later today. Helene will be making landfall around the Florida's Big Bend with a life threatening storm surge of 9-12 feet, winds of 120mph and flooding rains.
