Wanted man stops midpursuit to get rid of passengers in Hanford, PD says

HANFORD, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A man who was wanted for domestic violence-related charges was arrested Tuesday afternoon after being chased by both car and dog in Hanford.
During the noon patrol, officers say they spotted an SUV resembling that of 30-year-old Frank Neto, a man wanted for domestic violence-related charges.
Officers say they flashed their patrol lights near Hanford Armona Rd. and Manor Ave., but Neto failed to yield.
After a short pursuit, police say Neto briefly stopped to allow three passengers to exit his vehicle. He then resumed the chase before ultimately losing control and colliding with a curb.

Stuck, Neto fled on foot. Officers report Enzo the K-9 officer ran after, successfully bringing the pursuit to an end.
Neto was taken to Adventist Health in Hanford for medical evaluation before being transferred to the Kings County Jail.
According to officers, Neto is accused of multiple charges, including:
Corporal injury on a spouse
Damage to a communication device to prevent help
Evading a peace officer
