(KRON) -- The Sonoma County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help in finding a suspect who stole several goats from a Santa Rosa ranch in September. (photo below) Photo Courtesy: Sonoma Co. Sheriff According to the sheriff's office, the suspect -- limitedly described as a woman -- stole three goats from "Rancho Disco," a ranch located on the 600 block of Bellevue Avenue in Santa Rosa on Sept. 17. The rancher, Shawn “Disco” Ganapoler, has footage showing the theft, which he provided to sheriff officials. He told KRON4 he's distraught and considers these goats his "babies." Sheriff officials said detectives have been working on the case but have yet to identify the suspect or locate the three goats. Here are some descriptions of the missing goats, according to the sheriff's office: "Nacho" is a very large La Mancha wether (castrated) goat weighing about 200 pounds. "Chili" is a Kiko goat weighing about 50 pounds. "Atlas" is a wether goat weighing about 110 pounds. Those with any leads on the suspect or the goats are asked to contact Detective Williams at 707-565-1312. "We'd like to return Nacho, Chili, and Atlas to their owner," sheriff officials said. This case is being investigated by sheriff detectives and the "Rural Crimes Task Force," a group specializing in agricultural crimes such as livestock theft, crop destruction, and equipment theft. "Help bring these goats home!" Sheriff officials said.
