Previous reports indicate a judge set Bola's bond at $30,000 cash during his initial hearing. The investigation began Tuesday morning when deputies with the Hendricks County Sheriff's Office were dispatched around 8:41 a.m. to the 2100 block of Cinnamon Court in Avon on a report of a suspicious person who had active protection orders. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with an individual who claimed they were an ex-neighbor of Bola's. This witness told the officers that they reportedly observed a white SUV parked behind a black truck in front of a residence in the area. The caller reportedly told deputies that this is where children residing on Cinnamon Court are picked up by the school bus. This witness said they proceeded to pull next to the white SUV where they allegedly observed a male driver "attempting to cover his face with his hands." The caller stated that they soon recognized the driver to allegedly be Bola. As the witness drove off, they reported observing Bola allegedly turn around and speed away. Court documents state the witness captured multiple photographs of the white SUV Bola was allegedly driving at the time. Bola was subsequently booked into jail later on Tuesday afternoon and preliminary charged with invasion of privacy for violating a no-contact order. According to previous reports, Bola allegedly admitted to investigators that he inappropriately touched a child's body and used a small camera to spy on the victim inside their room. The victim was cleaning their room when they reportedly discovered a small camera hidden on a bookshelf. Court documents detail how the juvenile victim shared this discovery with their mother who confronted Bola about the camera. Bola could not provide an answer for why he placed the camera in the victim's room, according to previous reports. This is when the mother contacted authorities and an investigation was launched. IMPD officer arrested in connection with child molesting case Court documents show that Bola allegedly confessed to investigators that he had touched the juvenile victim in their privates and that he had pleasured himself after touching the child. He also allegedly told investigators they would find nude photos of the victim on his phone. A forensic interview conducted by the Hendricks County Sheriff's Office reportedly determined that Bola began molesting the victim nearly two years ago. Bola was suspended from IMPD by Chief Chris Bailey after the allegations came to light. Bailey also recommended to the IMPD Civilian Police Merit Board that Bola's employment status with IMPD be terminated. Online court records show that Bola is due to appear in a jury trial on Nov. 12 at 8:30 a.m. in Hendricks Superior Court 4.
