BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- The Kern County Sheriff's office is set to host a hiring event at the training center on Saturday. The sheriff's office will be hiring deputy and detention deputy trainees and laterals. The hiring event is scheduled to be located at the Regional Training Center at 962 Norris Road. KCSO seeking help locating man missing since 2022 The event is scheduled to start at 8:30 a.m. and testing will be held at 10 a.m. At the event applicants can connect with experienced law enforcement and explore career advancement.
