Authorities have publicly identified a 75-year-old man who was found dead following a midday fire that spread through his Spring Valley home. Firefighters discovered William Rindfleisch on the floor of his bedroom about 12:30 p.m. Sept. 13 after extinguishing the blaze at his residence on Buena Vista Avenue, according to the Medical Examiner’s Office. Paramedics pronounced Rindfleisch dead at the scene from fire-related injuries, the agency reported.
