ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Allen Nesmith has been the driving force behind some dramatic victories for the McQuaid football team this year. For his performance against Penfield, he's been named our Player of the Week. Nesmith had a monster day for the Knights, tallying 212 rushing yards and five touchdowns. Three of those touchdowns came in the fourth quarter and McQuaid stormed back to beat Penfield 38-26. Last week, Nesmith had 365 yards to fuel a comeback victory against Rush-Henrietta. McQuaid is 3-0 with three dramatic victories, the first coming in overtime against Lancaster, and our Player of the Week is a big reason why.
