WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A crash in Sumner County involving a windmill shaft has restricted traffic on Kansas Highway 49 until Thursday. The Kansas Department of Transportation said the crash happened just north of Caldwell on K-49 on Tuesday afternoon. Wichita police to provide update on deputy-involved shooting There is no word on if there were injuries in the crash. KDOT said just after 2 p.m. that K-49 is restricted to one lane, controlled by flaggers, between Caldwell and the K-44 junction. It will tentatively be that way until Thursday.
