ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A group of students at Wherry Elementary School are now KRQE Weather Academy certified, thanks to the pros at KRQE. Meteorologist Liz Fellinger taught kids about New Mexico’s weather. After the presentation, students took a short quiz, received a certificate, and were recognized as official “Graduates of the KRQE Weather Academy.” Students also received a KRQE Weather Academy certificate, an activity sheet, and a review sheet.
