OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — Oklahoma City Police are still looking for a suspect after a man was shot and killed Friday night. 20-year-old Dashawn Davis' family said he was riding his bike back to his grandmother's house when he was shot. Now, they're asking whoever killed him to turn themselves in. "It's been devastating. It's been absolutely devastating," said Denne Young, Davis' Aunt. Davis was shot and killed Friday evening near North Kelley Avenue and Northeast 36th Street. His family said it feels like a nightmare they can't wake up from. "My nephew went to the store to simply get soft drinks, and he lost his life leaving the store just to get something to drink," said Young. Davis' family said he just celebrated his 20th birthday eight days before he was killed. One dead in NE Oklahoma City shooting, police say "He was a great kid. He had his whole life ahead of him. He has a little daughter., she's two. He loved spending time with her," said Asha Davis, Davis' great aunt. Oklahoma City Police have not made any arrest and said the investigation is in its early stages. His family said they need answers. "Please come forward. Please come for somebody, because somebody knows something. Somebody got got cameras," said Davis. A caring person and great dad are just some of the ways loved one said they will remember Davis. "He loved hard. He loved hard. No matter what. He loved hard," said Davis. "He loved his child. He lived for that baby, that's why he was on the right track and trying to get his stuff together for his child. You know, now she has to be raised without her dad."
