ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) - A 22-year-old Fort Wayne man struck and killed by two separate vehicles this weekend on Thimlar Road has been identified. Officers with the Allen County Sheriff's Department were called to the 5400 block of Thimlar Road - in the eastern part of Allen County - sometime before 1:45 a.m. Sunday on a report of a fatal crash. There, they found Isaac William Brown, who was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a media release Tuesday from the Allen County Coroner's Office. Sgt. Adam Griffith said Brown was walking on the side of the road when he was hit not once but twice. Both vehicles left the scene, according to Griffith. The first vehicle is said to likely have damage on the front passenger side. The second vehicle is possibly a pickup truck, but the make and model are unknown, Griffith said. The coroner ruled Brown's death from multiple blunt force injuries due to a pedestrian versus motor vehicle crash, according to the media release. The coroner ruled the manner of Brown's death an accident and the 28th motor vehicle fatality in the county this year.
