El Paso, Texas (KTSM) -- Summer seems to be hanging on tight in the Borderland as we welcome the new fall season with sunny skies and highs in the 90s for the next nine days. Starting Wednesday, expect clear skies all day, with a high reaching 92 degrees. Light winds from the east, between 5 to 10 mph, will keep the day calm. The evening temperature dips to 68 degrees. By Thursday, we warm up to 93 degrees with more sunny skies over El Paso. The evening will cool down to 67 degrees. On Friday, winds from the west will pick up to 20 mph, which could create hazy conditions. Besides the wind, we're looking at a high of 97 degrees. Friday night will be the warmest in our forecast, with clear skies and a low of 69 degrees. From Saturday through Monday, temperatures will stay in the mid-90s with plenty of sunshine. Light winds are expected to stay calm through the weekend. By Tuesday, winds from the west will pick up again, ranging between 15 to 20 mph. The remainder of the week should bring overall nice weather and clear skies. Highs are to reach the low to mid-90s and overnight lows in the 60s.
