BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- The City of Tehachapi is set to host a Star Gazing Party at Aviator Park on October 12. At the event, Kern County amateur astronomers will be offering close-up views of the Moon, Venus, Saturn, Antares and other constellations. SpaceX to launch Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg Space Force Base Tuesday City officials say the event is free and you can bring a picnic dinner, binoculars or telescope.
