A man who was stabbed to death in an Upper East Side apartment by a man he met on gay dating app Grindr was the aggressor, and shouted, “I hate all people!” before stabbing his date, according to police sources. The two men arranged to meet at the apartment of one of the men, who is 27, on E. 95th St. near Second Ave. on Sunday afternoon. But the potential hookup unexpectedly turned into a knife fight when the visitor made his misanthropic exclamation and, without apparent provocation, began stabbing the tenant, who, in turn, grabbed a kitchen knife and fatally stabbed his attacker, police sources said. When police responding to a 911 call about an assault in progress showed up at the apartment around 1:30 p.m. they found one man dead and the 27-year-old with lacerations all over his body, cops said. Medics transported the injured man to New York-Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell in serious but stable condition, according to police. He is expected to recover.
