On Monday, Sept. 30, crews will begin replacing the main water line in Main Street from 5th Street uphill to Swede Alley. The city said the project area will be broken into two segments. For the first three weeks, work will be limited to 5th Street to 4th Street, followed by 4th Street to Swede Alley. All Old Town parking will be free during this time, the city said.These areas will be closed to through-traffic during work hours. Sidewalk access will remain open.
