PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Veterans Affairs Providence announced Tuesday that it has housed 187 homeless veterans in the fiscal year. VA Providence also reports that 96.2 percent of these veterans have not returned to homelessness and 132 have been able to access other needed services. Nationwide, 96.3 percent of veterans assisted by the VA have not returned to homelessness. Categories: News, Rhode Island
