CSPD: Shooting leaves one injured near Fillmore and Cascade

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) responded to a reported shooting around 10:15 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 24, that left one person injured.
According to CSPD, when officers arrived at the location in the 2900 block of Tremont Street, near West Fillmore Street and North Cascade Avenue, they found one person who was bleeding and unconscious, having been injured by an apparent gunshot wound.
The victim was taken to the hospital and their injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.
