ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- All southbound lanes on Interstate 97 were closed early Tuesday morning after a crash in Anne Arundel County. In a post on X, the Anne Arundel County Police Department said the crash happened near Route 3 and involved a motorcycle. Man killed in triple shooting in Mt. Rainier, police say suspect fled on foot Police told DC News Now that a man was taken to the Shock Trauma unit for treatment. His condition is unknown, at this time. According to the Maryland Department of Transportation, all southbound lanes on I-97 were blocked off near, Benfield Blvd, and traffic was being diverted onto Exit 10A.
