KINGMAN, Kan. (KSNW) — Two people are in custody after an hours-long standoff in Kingman.
It started Monday around 2 p.m. when police received the report of an individual who had been stabbed around 2 p.m. Officers responded to that incident, but the suspect fled and barricaded himself in a house in the 400 block of East B Avenue. The Kansas Highway Patrol was called in around 7 p.m., along with their SWAT team.
"The person that we're looking for, we have at a residence. We have mulitple agencies involved, and we're hopefully gonna to bring this to a peaceful conclusion," said Chief Lux.
The standoff ended around 1 a.m. Tuesday with a man and in woman in custody. No one was hurt.

The incident is under investigation.
