A vehicle pursuit that began Monday evening in Douglas County ended with a crash and foot pursuit near the frontage road area at the junction of I-580 and South Carson Street. The suspect is in custody. At around 5:40 p.m. Carson City Sheriff's Office was alerted to a pursuit by Douglas County Sheriff's Office deputies going northbound US-395 approaching the county line. The suspect vehicle apparently crashed at the intersection and the driver fled on foot. Deputies from DCSO had the man in custody with Carson City Sheriff's deputies assisting.
