NORTH DAKOTA (KXNET) — Numbers were down in the most recent Director's Cut from the North Dakota Department of Mineral Resources, but not everything was negative. Oil and Gas Division Assistant Director Mark Bohrer says July production was at more than 1.1 barrels per day, down about 1.5%, but that is 6% above expected revenue. More than 19,000 wells were producing, and gas capture stayed steady at 94 percent. Minot Intermodal Facility named finalist for “Best in Show” award 107 wells were permitted, with the rig count totaling 39, and completed wells were at 79, up sixteen from June. "In August, we hit that hundred mark. That's the number we want to, that's kind of our goal is at that number. We feel we can grow production one to two percent with the activity out there," said Bohrer. The next Director's Cut is scheduled for October 22nd at 3 p.m. central. Close Thanks for signing up!
