SELMA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - It's already fall and that means more and more cities are hosting fall events. In Selma, the free Pumpkin Palooza event is happening the first week of October. According to Selma's Seniors, Parks, Arts, Recreation and Community Services (SPARCS), the city's Pumpkin Palooza will be a free community event on Oct. 5. Which pumpkin patches in Fresno County are open right now? Organizers say there will be a pumpkin patch, activities for kids, face painters, a photo booth, a scavenger hunt and dessert vendors. The vendors will have a pumpkin spice specialty item, according to a social media post from SPARCS when the group was looking for vendors. The Pumpkin Palooza will be on Oct. 5 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Pioneer Village located at 1880 Art Gonzales Parkway in Selma.
