Clouds have continued to stick around to kickoff the new week, and it will be a several more days before bright sunshine returns. Tuesday and Wednesday will be very similar days, with mostly cloudy skies and highs in the mid to upper 60s. There could be a sprinkle along the way. With E/NE winds continuing, there will also be some elevated surf continuing. Thursday will bring widespread showers, and will be the only truly wet day this week. High pressure returns Friday into the weekend, bringing back the sun and slight warmer temperatures as well. Highs will be in the low 70s into next week. This high couldn’t have come at a better time. Soon-to-be Hurricane Helene is likely to make landfall in Florida later this week. The big incoming high will cause the storm to turn west after it moves inland, sparing the Northeast from any rain from the system. Categories: News, Weather Forecast
