EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Each week in the fall, we bring you high school football scores and highlights from around our area on the Friday Night Blitz.
And new this year — we want you to get involved.
On Monday, we announced the next three nominees for the Blitz 12 Player of the Week:
🏈 Classical RB Jordan Duke (4 TDs, 132 rushing yds, 127 receiving yds vs. North Providence)
🏈 Coventry RB Nathan Petrarca (217 yds and 2 TDs in win over Tolman)
🏈 Bishop Hendricken RB Jeremy Seidi (rushed for 3 TDs in win over Cumberland)

Voting will be open until 7 p.m. Wednesday. Be sure to check back to find out this week's winner, who we'll interview Friday on 12 News at 6, 10 and 11 p.m.
Last week's winner was Burrillville QB Logan Gelinas, who scored three touchdowns in the Broncos' 42-24 win over Mount Pleasant.
Here’s how it works:
🏈 Monday: Watch 12 Sports at 6, 10 and 11 p.m. when the week’s three standout players are revealed. Voting begins right here on WPRI.com at 6 p.m.
🏈 Monday-Wednesday: Open voting period for Blitz 12 Player of the Week. Voting closes Wednesday at 7 p.m.
🏈 Thursday: Blitz 12 Player of the Week winner is announced in 12 Sports.
🏈 Friday: Watch 12 News at 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. and the Friday Night Blitz for an interview with the Blitz 12 Player of the Week.
The Friday Night Blitz airs weekly at 11:15 p.m. on WPRI 12, with continuing coverage right here on WPRI.com.
