RANDOLPH COUNTY, N.C. (WGHP) — A man arrested during a sex crimes investigation earlier this year faces new charges, according to the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office. On April 11, deputies got a report about a possible sex offense involving a minor. Investigators later sought charges against 21-year-old Andrew Sanchez for three counts of statutory rape of a minor. On July 8, Sanchez was found by investigators on West Fairfield Road in High Point. He was taken to the detention center and served with the warrant. In September, the magistrate found probable cause for two counts of felony third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. He was served the new warrant out of Randolph County on Monday and issued a $25,000 secured bond.
