GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - The Good Neighbor Week Committee is holding its fifth community improvement project this week. Volunteers will complete 14 minor home repair and yard maintenance projects at the homes of Green Bay residents. Organizers say it is an opportunity for residents to connect with and lend a helping hand to their neighbors. Wisconsin State Patrol issues reminders during Rail Safety Week "It's neighbors helping neighbors improve their property," said Randy Griswold, a volunteer with Good Neighbor Week. "It could be as simple as baking cookies or delivering a pie to somebody, or just going up and saying hello to somebody, introducing yourself to somebody you've never met before within your Good Neighborhood. It could be a simple gesture like that." The home improvement projects will continue through Thursday, Sept. 26.
