(WOLO)— In today’s look at Local Living, as accidental overdose deaths have become an epidemic around the country with over two thirds of deaths in the United States happening east of the Mississippi, there is something to be done about that. John Brittany and Amber Frazier from the Courage Center joined the show with ABC Columbia’s Tyler Ryan to talk about overdose deaths. The guests also talked about Save a Life Day which is on Sept. 26. Save a Life Day was created by a group out of West Virginia in 2020. What was suppose to be a two county event has grown in the past years with last having up to 13 states honoring the day.
