MINOT, ND (KXNET) — Community Rocks will hold a gifting ceremony in Minot where they will distribute $4,500 to nine organizations. This comes from the money raised at the Summer Community Rocks Concert, which took place on Saturday, August 24th, 2024. The mission of Community Rocks is to support arts and entertainment in the Magic City, and help those in need. The organization then gives all the money they raise back to businesses in the community. West Fargo High School recognized by Special Olympics for inclusion Since it began in 2015, Community Rocks has given back $750,000 to Minot businesses. This year's nine organizations — which include the Domestic Violence Crisis Center, the Souris Valley United Way, and the Ward County K9 Unit — will receive $500 each.
