BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- A "Prosperity Neighborhood Initiative Tier 2" event is coming to the Bakersfield PAL and organizers want to hear from the community on how to improve disadvantage communities. The Martin Luther King Jr. Center is hosting the Sept. 24, meeting from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Bakersfield PAL on East Fourth Street. During the event, organizers say they will hear from the public, collaborate with public health partners, and build partnerships with local organizations.
