Purebred Foxhound stolen from Louisa County home

LOUISA COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- The Louisa County Sheriff's Office is looking for information about a pure-bred Foxhound that was stolen from a resident's home on Friday.
On Friday, Sept. 20, the sheriff's office received a report that a person stopped in front of a house, got out of their car and took took dog from the yard.
According to Louisa County's Sheriff's Office, the suspect's car was described to be a mid-sized SUV, which could be wither black or dark blue. No description was available for the suspect, but it was mentioned that it could possibly be a woman.
The stolen pure-bred Foxhound named Goofy is said to be valued at $1,000. Goofy is described as a large breed dog with a Beagle-like coloring to his coat. He also has a distinct scar on the top of his left paw, as well as a white chevron mark on his front arm.
