(WFRV) - A former school resource officer in Washington County was reportedly convicted of bestiality and is scheduled to get sentenced in late November. According to Fond du Lac County District Attorney Eric Toney, 35-year-old Steven Rosales was convicted of bestiality. Rosales was reportedly convicted of three counts of bestiality. His bond was revoked and a pre-sentencing report was ordered. Rosales is reportedly scheduled to be sentenced in front of a judge on November 26 at 2:30 p.m. Green Bay Police Department: Suspect arrested in connection to deadly August shooting The maximum sentence is nine years of initial confinement and nine years of extended supervision. Two counts Rosales was facing were dismissed but read in. The release says that the state has capped its sentencing recommendation at five years of initial confinement. Rosales was a former Kewaskum High School resource officer. The charges come from Rosales reportedly sending text messages to someone claiming he had sexual relations with a dog. Law enforcement officers have earned a tremendous amount of respect within our communities. When they break that trust it’s heartbreaking but they will be held accountable, just like any other person.
