Green Bay Police Department: Suspect arrested in connection to deadly August shooting

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - Authorities in Green Bay say they have arrested a man believed to be the suspect involved in the August shooting that killed a 21-year-old man.
According to the Green Bay Police Department, 21-year-old Brandon Rameriez died on August 7 after being shot shortly after 4:00 p.m. in the 1200 block of Berner Street.
Police say an 18-year-old man, who is not being identified by the GBPD, was arrested at another jurisdiction for an unrelated event and is believed to be the suspect involved in the August shooting.

Officials have reportedly referred homicide charges to the Brown County District Attorney's Office.
The shooting in August is still believed by police to be an isolated incident and the public is not in any danger.
