(WANE) A strong storm swept through north central Indiana on Sunday, September 22, spawning a tornado that caused damage to homes and businesses in the area, including Jay County Jr./Sr. High School. According to a post on the Jay School Corporation website, an update on the amount of damage and when classes might resume will be provided Monday afternoon. It will continue surveying the damage on Monday to determine how strong the tornado was. No injuries were reported as a result of the storm.
