EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — El Paso County will be hosting phase three of its capital improvement bond community meetings this week, the County said in a press release Monday morning, Sept. 23. As we have previously reported, the county commissioners voted unanimously to approve a capital improvement project list and ordered a bond election to be held on Nov. 5. The capital improvement bond would fund $323.8M in projects to be implemented countywide over the next several years, according to the County. The County says it will host 14 informational meetings over the next several weeks to provide residents with information about the proposed capital improvement bond. The County has provided a list of those meetings which are the following. 6 p.m. through 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 24 El Paso County Eastside Annex - Community Room located at 2350 George Dieter Dr. 6 p.m. through 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 26 Virtual 6 p.m. through 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 26 El Paso County Courthouse - Commissioners Court located at 500 E.
