BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) -- An investigation into a bomb threat against a Louisiana State University fraternity led to the arrest of one woman. Campus police were called around 9 p.m. Sept. 7 to the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity and initiated an investigation. "The bomb threat was made in reference to a banner hung by the fraternity that read, 'What do Nicholls + Palestine have in common? Getting BOMBED," according to police documents. Police were told that the fraternity received a message via Instagram around 8 p.m. about a "homemade explosive" being made for them. Members of the fraternity wanted a sweep to be conducted, according to the affidavit. She "admitted to sending the message and being the sole user of the Instagram account," according to the affidavit. LSU PD stated that she showed remorse and said she did not want to hurt anyone. Rodrigue said she sent the message because she was disgusted by the sign. Rodrigue was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on Friday, Sept. 20, and charged with terrorizing. She remains in jail and no bond has been set.
