Argument turns into deadly shooting in west Columbus, suspect arrested in Indiana

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – A man is dead after a shooting occurred on the far west side of the city Sunday night.
According to Columbus police, an adult male was found suffering life-threatening injuries after a shooting in the 1000 block of Cliff Creek Drive in the Wexford-Thornapple neighborhood, just west of Hilliard Rome Road.

Police said that an argument between 22-year-old Jonathan Santiago and 22-year-old Alejandro Angulo-Ramos led to the shooting, which took place at around 10:30 p.m. Sunday. Santiago was taken to a local hospital, but was pronounced dead at 11:07 p.m.
Angulo-Ramos was arrested by police Monday in Ferdinand, Indiana by state police at a gas station. He is set to be extradited to Ohio and faces a murder charge.
