WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- Officials said three people and their pets are without a place to live after their home caught fire in D.C. early Sunday morning. According to the DC Fire and EMS Department (DCFD), just before 4 a.m. on Sept. 22, crews were called to the 300 block of Taylor Street Northeast for a three-story apartment building on fire. Apartment fire displaces several in Rockville, causes about $100k in damages There, crews contained the fire to the attic and the top floor of the building. Crews were on the scene of an apartment building fire on Taylor street on Sept. 22. (X/dcfireems)(X/dcfireems) The DCFD said no one was hurt. However, three adults, three dogs and two turtles were displaced from the apartment. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
