HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) - A two-vehicle crash caused delays on I-664 Monday morning. Virginia State Police said the incident occurred just after 4:30 a.m. near Chestnut Avenue. The crash involved a commercial motor vehicle and a sedan, which blocked lanes of travel. I-664 two-vehicle crash (Courtesy: VSP) According to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), all south lanes were temporarily closed on I-664 near 39th Street due to the crash. All lanes have since reopened. Traffic cam shows police and VDOT workers blocking the road. Courtesy: VDOT A detour was been put in place at exit 3 while crews worked to clear the scene.
