Two people, one from Iowa, hurt following crash in Wisconsin

VIROQUA, Wis. (WFRV) - Authorities in western Wisconsin say two people, including one man from Iowa, were hurt in a crash Saturday afternoon.
According to a release from the Vernon County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded around 2:00 p.m. on September 21 to the intersection of West Smith Road and Barstad Road in Viroqua for reports of a two-vehicle crash.
At the scene, officials say a vehicle driven by 72-year-old Robert Ramsey from Iowa City was reading south on Barstad Road and did not stop at the intersection of West Smith Road leading it to crash into a vehicle heading east.

Both Ramsey and the driver of the eastbound vehicle, 45-year-old Jeffrey Hahn from Virogua, were reported to have minor injuries and were taken by ambulance to a hospital.
The Vernon County Sheriff's Office says it was assisted at the scene by the Viroqua Police Department, the Viroqua Fire Department, the Viroqua Fire Department Emergency Responders, and the Tri-State Ambulance/Gundersen Ambulance.
